SPAWAR Systems Center-Pacific (PEO Space)
Quantum Dimension, Inc. was awarded a Navy Phase I Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) by SPAWAR SSC-Pacific PEO Space on March 15, 2010. This 6 month contract valued at $69,993 with a 3 month option for $29,997 is for the design and development of an "High Efficiency WCDMA Power Amplifier for MUOS Handheld Radio". "This is an excellent opportunity for our team to provide our device design expertise for an active Navy program", commented VP of Business Development Julie Isenberger. "This project is not only valuable for integration with a production MUOS handset, but it has potential application to the commercial cellular market where WiMAX and HSPA+ are emerging with very high PAR and the need for higher handset RF power is required to extend high data rate range."

Air Force Research Lab-Wright Patterson AFB(ATF/RF Sensors Branch)

Quantum Dimension, Inc. was awarded an Air Force Phase II Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) by Air Force Research Lab based in Dayton, OH on Dec. 11, 2009. This 2 Year contract valued at $749,993 will begin on 1/1/2010 and is the next phase of design and development of a resilient navigation solution utilizing mobile ad-hoc capability to support disadvantaged users in suburban, urban or indoor areas where access to traditional GPS signals is limited or non-existent. “This solution provides inherent value as it is a stand-alone system that is not dependent upon existing commercial and/or military infrastructure access,” stated Quantum Dimension President Michael Enright. “Further we are addressing critical issues with navigation via Signals of Opportunity (SoOP) that as of yet have not been resolved; namely architecting and designing a mobile device that combines resilient navigation with mobile ad-hoc capability. We can meet these requirements through innovative navigation algorithms and cutting-edge mobile handheld design.”
